It started out very similar to last week, we scored three touchdowns in the first quarter. We then followed that with two more in the second. It was Rockwall 33 Allen 14 at half time. We looked like we were on our way to being 2-0. Well, you can see where this is going. We came out a little flat in the second half. Allen must have changed EVERYTHING that they were doing because our defense couldn't stop them and our offense had trouble scoring. To make a long, sad story short the final score was Rockwall 47 Allen 48. I can't stand those Eagles! We have a bye next week so I will not be bringing you any updates. It will probably take you that long to get over the disappointment of this one! :)

I love your weekly football updates, nobody on in Ca. understands what it means to be involved in Friday night football in the midwest. When I coached in western Kansas we played some teams from Texas up in the pan handle. We always had plus or minus a 1,000 at our games but when we went to Texas it was 5,000. The closest I have seen to have this kind of game is Sanger home games, even they have along way to compare with Texas. Look forward to your report in two weeks. 54
kuddos to anonymous! Sanger is a way I can connect to your texas experience. It was amazing to me how the town would shut down and the stadium would start to get full at the beginning of the JV game.

I have a funny story about yellow jackets from this last weekend. I got hit in the butt! hahaha, they got a mean sting!
