This was a weekend of firsts for Macey. Saturday, Texas A&M - Commerce (Kevin's alma mater) was playing football in the Cotton Bowl. This is a big deal for a little school. The Cotton Bowl will hold 90,000, so it is a big place, but it was fun to see them play there. We usually go to one game a year so this was the one we chose. I wasn't real sure if I was going to go, but I decided to pack up Macey and go, and I am glad we did. She was great.
The other first for Macey was sleeping in her crib. Until today she has slept in her Moses basket in the front room during the day (no comments please), but today we hooked up the monitor and put her in her crib.
Here is her first nap in her crib, albeit only 45 minutes, it was the first time she slept there. It made me a little sad because she is actually outgrowing the Moses basket. However, I loved seeing how tiny she looked in the big crib. She still has a long way to go before she outgrows that! :)

Actually, it is a good idea for baby to nap in a different place than she sleeps at night. Helps her figure out the difference.
She maya get too big for the Moses basket but she will never outgrow the floor of your walk-in closet... :-) Love you so much!
hahahaha...true! :)
Glad she enjoyed the football game...she was born into the right family to love sports! She is getting big (outgrowing the Moses basket) but she is still so tiny and sweet. I am excited that she will only need ONE surgery!! Praise the Lord! She's still adorable...even with the tape. She's just such a beautiful baby!
