What Macey has been doing

With all the excitement of the newest McNeely I have neglected to post pictures of what Macey has been doing.

The weather has been great here in Texas, feels a bit more like Spring than Winter, and I am not complaining. We are about to have some winter weather this weekend, so I am glad we were able to take advantage of the sun. We go on lots of walks, which means Macey walks up and down the sidewalk, she could do that for hours if I let her. Kevin and I have been taking her jogging, and sometimes I just let her run around the backyard, she really just loves to be outside.

We went camping last weekend, and had an ok time. The faucet in the trailer was broken, but we didn't know until we got to the site and hooked it up. So we didn't have running water, something you kind of count on when you have a travel trailer. The weather didn't really cooperate either. It was supposed to be nice weather, until a day or two before we left and then rain was forcast. So, it rained most the afternoon and evening on Saturday, which made it a muddy mess. We still tried to make use of our family time, so it wasn't all a waste, but we have had better trips.

Finally, on Tuesday Macey went to her first gymnastics class. It is a "parent and tot" class, so I was involved as well. She loved it! We had been to an open gym a few times, and were told we could try out the class one day for free, so we went. The class was really small and the teacher was great, so we had a great time. However, for the cost (YIKES) I think she is a bit young. We will probably continue going to the open gym once a week, it's cheaper and gives her the opportunity to explore and do what she wants. As she gets older we will definitely have her in some type of program. Our short, squatty little girl should be just right for gymnastics!

I know one thing, she was THE cutest little gymnast!
