Happy Valentine's Day

For those of you who have known me for a while know that I am not much for Valentine's Day. I don't hate it, I just don't see the need for it. I got a Valentine from my mom every year, and she send them to my kids, and it is great! I just don't buy into the mushy, gushy flowers, candy and all that stuff. For those of you who love it, enjoy your day, I'm not going to judge.

On that note, I am always a sucker for a good love story. I know, doesn't make sense, but it's true. I want to hear stories about people who fell in love in high school, only to go on and live separate lives and came together again like a day hadn't passed in between. My favorite stories are the one's where people do not give up on their true love. I mean when times get tough, I mean REAL tough, and true love prevails. Those are my favorite, they bring me to tears every time!

I have been privileged to witness such a story first hand. It is not my story, but it is a story of two people whom I admire and love very much.

Please take a little time to read this story about Marvin and Nadene Steinert, my grandparents!
