I know this is late, but I needed to post about my Mother's Day. It was going to be a LONG day spent driving in the car, somewhere between Arizona and Texas. That was until we made a phone call to some dear friends and decided to head north to Colorado!
On Saturday I gave my good friend Becky (Stiglich) Anderson a call and asked if we could steal part of their Sunday with a quick visit, and they were gracious enough to say yes! The plan was to get within a couple hours of them, spend a few hours with them on Sunday and then head out. halfway through the day we called them back and asked if we could come late that night and stay at their house. And like the wonderful hospitable people they are they were happy to host us!
What a treat!!! Their little girl, Evie, is just a few months younger than Xander and Macey and she and Macey became instant best friends! The new Becky and Allison, watch out, this could be dangerous!
Sunday morning we opted out of going to church with the Anderson's and took our time getting ready, a nice way to spend our time. After church we headed to a park to feed some geese, and to play for a bit before heading out for Amarillo.
We hadn't seen Becky and Jay since their wedding in 2008 (I was preggo with Macey) so it was a much needed reunion. They were wonderful hosts, and we can't wait to get our families together again...sooner, rather than later.

love love love the pictures but we love even more you guys! sS glad we got to see you and spend time together. Hope you have got your rest and have settled back into routine. All our love to you and can't wait to do it again!
