Good Maggie!

I'm not going to talk about out football game just yet. It was amazing!!! I'll post pictures and the highlights tomorrow. Today I want to talk once again about our wonderful dog Maggie! She drives me crazy most of the time. She barks a lot, she is hyper, she doesn't get along with other dogs and if given the chance she runs out of the yard or house and thinks we are playing a game with her when we try to get her back inside. However, she has protected me from 2 opossums and now theives! Don't worry, no one was in danger and nothing was stolen.

I got home last night at midnight. Kevin and I stayed up for a bit talking about the game and watching some of the Aggie game (depressing). At about 1am we headed to bed. Apparently, Maggie started barking in the night sometime, but I never heard her.

This morning I left for work at 6:30am and noticed the tool box in the bed of Kevin's truck was open. Then I noticed the back passenger window was broken. I went back inside to get Kevin. We looked at the truck without touching anything and tried to determine if anything was stolen. It didn't look like anything was touched. I noticed some blood on the door (yuck) and then Kevin said "The doors are still locked." Apparently, they didn't even make it inside the truck.

Here's what I think happened. I think they opened the tool box, decided they didn't want anything in there, and then busted the window with a fist or some body part (causing the blood on the door). Maggie must have heard the crash so she woke up and started barking and scared the idiots away! That must have been when Kevin heard her barking!

GOOD MAGGIE!

My watch dog would have kept sleeping on the couch or might have opened one eye to look if anyone was there. As big as he is he is very lazy!
