Unstoppable

At least that's what the Dallas Morning News said about our running back!

In our first district game it was all Rockwall against the ever strong Garland Owls. Garland has a long history of great teams. They are good every year, it's just the way it is. Most people picked Rockwall to win the game, but they didn't expect Rockwall to win like they did.

Final score Rockwall 45 Garland 14!

I wasn't there for the exciting first half. I was covering a volleyball game which was very exciting actually. Volleyall played the Owls as well, and we lost the first two games onely to fight back and win the last three. Jacket Fight Never Dies!

Anyway, the second half of the football game was very uneventful. No injuries (they all happened in the first half while I wasn't there), just Rockwall touchdowns. Most of the crowd was gone by the end of the 3rd quarter, from both sides.

Next up Lakeview-Centennial Patriots. Theya re the surprise of the district. Typically they do not have great teams, but this year they seem to be working well together. Next week we play there on Friday night!
