Breakfast Baseball

Yesterday morning I made some coffee, sat in a comfortable chair, put me feet up and watched some baseball...live.
The Swingin A's were playing the Red Sox in Tokyo, Japan that night, or the previous night, or is it the night yet to come?  Either way, it was really cool to get up at 6 AM to see a real regular season game in the morning.  They had played the day before, but somehow I did not know about it.
So the A's and Red Sox have played 2 regular season games when nobody else will play until monday.
The most unstable thing is that the A's head back across the Pacific to play a three game spring training series against the Giants (losers) before starting, I mean re-starting their regular season on Tuesday against the Red Sox.
For all of you who check out our blog for all things baby, I'm sorry to disappoint, I just needed to hit the sports page.
Have good.

I'm sorry, I am not counting these games as the start of the season...Randy and I will have our annual opening day traditions on Monday, when the real baseball in the real US of A starts. And yes, the Giants are losers...they can't even win against their own triple A team (8-2 Grizzlies last night in Chukchansi Park, Downtown Fresno)! Go Dodgers!

Clarification for Jamie, the score was 4 - 3. And yes, that does soften the blow for those of us Giants fans...hee-hee...of which, if I recall, Jamie you used to be a Giants fan! :-)
