Here he is!

First, let me show you a short video. I promised pictures today, but I wanted y'all to see just how hard it is to get pictures of an almost 2 year old little boy. Or at least, my almost 2 year old little boy.

Most pictures look like this

Some look like this

Getting closer

But I got lucky and got one like this, even if he does have food on his face!

OK, I'll give you a minute to scroll down and look at the "before" picture. Look again. WOW, huh? I know!!! We are completely amazed. It's hard to tell in a picture, because you wouldn't really be able to see his scar anyway, but in person it is almost invisible. Even the surgeon commented on it today, in a way to imply that even he was amazed by it. He is still quite swollen on the left side, so his smile is crooked, but still adorable. The scabs you see are from some of the sutures that were removed today and should be gone in a day or so. The food, well that was macaroni and cheese because we were given the thumbs up on using utensils again!

When we walked into the Dr's office today almost all of the people there commented on how great he looked! Of course, they are always going to say that the kids look great, but you know when you can hear a little something different in people's voices. The speech pathologist said "Wow, what a difference! I need to go look at my before picture, that is amazing!" It was nice to hear that even the professionals, who see this every day, thought our little guy turned out better than average!!!

Looks great! I have been thinking about you guys! Too funny that we also can't get a picture of our son; our son also does the splits in the kitchen. Check out our video on our 20 month old!
