We had our Texas family over to celebrate Macey's birthday on Sunday afternoon. It was a cupcake party so all the kids decorated their own cupcakes, and boy did they enjoy themselves.
I'm not going to pretend that I have something profound to say about Macey turning 2. Life has certainly not been boring since her arrival, and I can't imagine that things will slow down anytime soon! :)
We set up her new kitchen so when she woke up it was ready for her, like a mini Christmas morning.
These are the AWESOME cupcakes my friend Trish made for Macey! She made Macey's smash cake last year and it was equally as impressive, she is SO talented.
Here are the kids decorating their cupcakes, the table looks pretty clean compared to how it al ended.
After going face first into the cupcake she decorated!
Yummy!
Now I am going to hijack Macey's birthday post to show you one picture of Xander I took today. He found his Shaun Alexander jersey and wore it most of the afternoon. I found him and Macey in my room with some books off of our bookshelf and had to take this picture.
One football on each side of him, wearing a football jersey, and you can't see the book, but it is Friday Night Lights! People, you can't make this stuff up. He's been in Texas just over 2 months and he already knows that football is king! And doesn't his nose and lip look amazing?!

You tell that lil girl to stop growing this INSTANT! Do you hear me??!! Holy crikey...I can't even handle it. (Btw, that sprinkles pic--can we say Lindsey [sp?]?!)
I hadn't checked your blog in a while, and didn't realize that Xander had his surgery. He looks amazing!
Happy belated birthday to Macey!
Happy birthday Macey!!!
