Happy Thanksgiving!

This year is a Thanksgiving like none we've ever had before.  Just our family of 4 enjoying some much needed down time together, without all the Thanksgiving Day traditions.  We are in a busy, stressful season of life, so today we vowed to have fun, enjoy each other and not do a lick of work!

We truly do have so much to be thankful for, and today is not the only day that we have been reminding ourselves of that.

*In the past few months we've been reminded that time with loved ones is precious, every moment you get to spend together should be cherished, because you just never know.
*We've also been reminded that the things of this world are just things, "stuff" is not important, especially in the light of eternity.
*God has gently (and then not so gently) reminded us that to obey Him is not easy, but it is ALWAYS worth it!
*We have a new appreciation for the men and women who have served and serve the United States of America, and are extremely thankful that our Airman came home!
*We've also had to accept that while on earth, the big picture, that God has a clear view of, doesn't always make sense to us.  But we are grateful that He, who knows what is best for us, can see it all and will hold us up as we struggle to understand.

So today we are thankful for so much, and tomorrow will be no different!

Happy Thanksgiving from Texas!!!
