April and May have been crazy, to say the least. I found some of my favorite pictures from these two months, so here they are with a brief description of what we were doing.
Literally 1 week after we got back from China I dolled the kids up and we headed out to catch the bluebonnets before they were gone for another year. We were certainly happy with the results. This shot gives y'all a good idea of how hard it was to get all three kids in a picture doing what they were supposed to! Thanks to Michelle Everhart Photography for being patient with us an capturing some great moments!
After our visit to Fresno we took a less that 24 hour visit to Bakersfield so Lyla could meet more of her family. The warm weather, and my dad's thermal cover on his pool, resulted in our first swim of the year, and possibly Lyla's first swim ever! She loved it, we loved it and we can hardly wait to get the summer going. Swim lessons are on the top of our list!
Little Macey and her big cousins Cari and Kymberli.
My girls picked out matching dresses and I thought they were so cute I just wanted a picture. After a few failed pictures of just the girls, Xander wanted his chance. And if I didn't have the proof to show you I wouldn't have believed it myself, all three kids are looking at the camera and even have a hint of a smile!
Our first attempt at a splash park and it was a huge success!!! Yay, a good way to cool off in the heat of a Texas summer!
Since we are quite a few years away from building a pool in our backyard, a plastic one will have to do. Much fun has already been had!!!
Daddy took Macey on a date to Steak 'n' Shake and she chose to get all fancy, complete with eye shadow and lip gloss!
Consider yourself caught up!

Oh my word you have the cutest kids in the world! Looks like you've fit in a whole lot of fun in the last few weeks along with all that traveling! Glad to see all your beautiful smiles! Love y'all! Miss you already!
Loved all those pictures of your smiley kiddos! Janice Porter
It's even harder with 4...maybe one day you'll be blogging about trying to take those pics. :) They are just precious. Love that swimming/jumping in picture.
