A special weekend

I am SO behind, so let me catch you up quickly before things get busy again and I get behind again!  Sheesh!

A few weekends ago we had a very special weekend.  On Saturday, June 16 I took the girls to get pampered.  There was no special occasion, other than I had purchased a Groupon a while ago and it was going to expire, so we needed to use it.  The girls got their hair done, their make up done, their nails painted and they got to pick out a few little gifts to take home. They LOVED it!  Lyla was ear to ear smiles the entire time (I know, she always smiles, but this was even BIGGER if you can imagine)

The next day was Father's Day.  We used our pass to visit Fossil Rim again, the kids love it and it is always enjoyable for us to see them so excited.  It is our family tradition for Daddy to go get donuts on Father's Day, so this year we just picked some up on the way!

Earlier in the week the kids were able to make their Dad his first ever home made Father's Day gift!  We took one of his work shirts (Kevin is not much of a wear-a-homemade-t-shirt kind of guy) and chose a color of paint and then put their hand prints on it!  They had so much fun doing it and loved keeping a secret from Daddy!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
